TOPIC OF THIS VIDEO:
In this GoPro Hero 8 tutorial I show you 5 cinematic and creative shots:
Swing Shot:
The swing shot is made with the bullet time accessory, but you use it in a different, more creative way. Mount your GoPro Hero 8 on a long pole, connect it to the bullet time accessory and search a high place where you can swing your GoPro Hero 8 set up to get a cinematic looking shot. I recommend you to take this cinematic GoPro Hero 8 shot in 2.7K with 120FPS, so you can slow it down and your creative GoPro Hero 8 shot looks even more cinematic.
Instagram Cinematic:
Shooting cinematic Instagram stories with your GoPro Hero 8 is a great way to practice my cinematography tips. I show you in this GoPro Hero 8 tutorial, how you can turn a boring looking Instagram story shot with the GoPro Hero 8, into a really cinematic story, which stands out from the crowd. Important here is that you take several GoPro Hero 8 shots with different angles and settings to make your short GoPro video look most cinematic and creative.
Adhesive Mount:
Using an adhesive mount might not be the most creative choice to film some GoPro Hero 8 shots, but you can still get very cinematic GoPro Hero 8 footage with it. Important for those kind of cinematic shots is, that your background looks amazing. I show you in this GoPro Hero 8 exactly what I mean with that.
Zoom Cuts:
For this creative and cinematic GoPro Hero 8 shot you need actually 3 GoPro shots. I show you in this GoPro Hero 8 tutorial exactly how to take the shots, it’s very easy. One thing you have to keep in mind for the cinematic zoom cuts is, that this effect looks most cinematic in a longer GoPro Hero 8 edit. Those 3 cuts alone won’t look very cinematic, nor creative.
Reveal Shot:
The last cinematic GoPro Hero 8 shot is very creative and you never see such kind of shots here on Youtube. For this cinematic GoPro Hero 8 shot you need again a very long pole and you also need to be a bit flexible, as you need to tilt your GoPro Hero 8 very much, to get a cinematic reveal effect during this shot. In this GoPro Hero 8 tutorial I will explain you all that much more detailed!
