Muting Tone and Colour with Three Simple Adjustments

Sometimes you just want to take energy out of an image, muting tones and colours. Here are three simple adjustments that can make a difference to a whole range of images, adjusting contrast, colour and shadows/highlights tints.
This method is similar (but subtly different to) one shown in another video on brightening the image.
